Perhaps you read my Twitter about how I slipped in the shower this afternoon.

I spent my entire morning cleaning my apartment, cleaning out cabinets and drawers, throwing out two-month-old Xbox magazines and hidden trash.

Then, I scrubbed my bathroom top-to-bottom, literally, including the ceiling and walls. It was insane, but it is so clean. I have to clean my life right now.

So, there is a problem with my shower, and I don't know what idiot ordered these because the bottoms are so, so slippery. My brother lives in the same apartments, but one building over, and he says his shower is super slippery, too, so I know it's not just me. So I got one of those bathmats with about a hundred little suction cups on the bottom, and it is made to look like grass, and I don't slip on it.

So, I cleaned my bathmat and hung it to dry today, and when I put it back in the tub, I forgot to smash it down. So when I stepped into the shower, it slipped from beneath me, and I fell. I tried to grab onto the shower curtain, but it fell, too, and I smashed my face into the seat of my toilet, bashed my legs into the side of the tub, and twisted my arm somewhere in between.

The saddest part? When I stood up again, I slipped again, hitting my head on the shower wall, and I blacked out. When I woke up, I tasted blood. Luckily, the only real damage was a cut on the inside of my mouth and a few bruised here and there.

So there I was, naked, half in my bathtub,a limb or two sprawled over the edge of the tub, twisted up in a shower curtain and bleeding from the mouth.

I started laughing. I mean, how ridiculous is that? Who passes out while taking a damn shower? The best part was that, after all of that, I still hadn't washed my hair.

I decided to stick with baths until I move next month.

Burn!
